About this tour

Amman is a city of contrasts. The capital of Jordan, it is situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. Its residential districts range from ancient villages to modern suburbs while its cultural diversity is evident in its historic citadel, historic souks and modern museums. The city’s commercial heart contains ultra-modern buildings, hotels, restaurants and boutiques rubbing shoulders comfortably with traditional coffee shops and tiny artisan workshops

Then proceed to  Madaba, known as the City of Mosaics, which features many famous mosaics that exist in public and private buildings.

Moses is regarded as a prophet and as the lawgiver of Jewish culture. He was one of the founding fathers of a nation and its many facets, including their religion. After Moses led his people to freedom and gave them the Ten Commandments, he was never allowed to enter The Holy Land himself. Take this journey through Jordan to understand one of the brothers who were not allowed to enter The Promised Land.”  After Madaba a short drive will bring you to Mt. Nebo where you will see Moses’s first glimpse of the Holy Land from his burial site overlooking the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea. From here Franciscans built a structure that protects a 4th and 6th Century Byzantine church..

A trip to Jordan is not complete without a visit to Petra. It was once the Nabataean capital and reveals itself as you walk through its hand carved facades. Your tour begins at the visitors’ center, where you will be assigned a local leader and guide who will lead you through the winding SIQ crack to el Khazneh – The Treasury, one of the most elegant remains of antiquity.

Truly, a city out of time. The world’s largest carved sculpture is adorned with Corinthian columns, obelisks and friezes carved from bedrock.  This ancient city, once the capital of the Nabatean kingdom, is not to be missed

Discover Jordan’s desert in a jeep tour that will have you traversing sand dunes and breathing in the desert winds at high speeds, as you gasp at Wadi Rum’s amazing rock formations. Schedule a tour with your camp or through the visitor’s center and it’s even more awesome moonlike landscape, where the film “Lawrence of Arabia” was shot.

Aqaba the Red Sea has been Jordan’s most prominent diving and snorkeling destination for decades. It is home to some of the most exotic marine life in the world, including thousands of species of fish that live in the warm waters around Aqaba. Whether you are looking to explore ghostly shipwrecks or colorful sea creatures, Deep Blue Dive Center has a trip that’s right for you. In addition to diving, this center also offers lessons for beginners, PADI certification courses, underwater photography equipment rentals and much more.
